Making Space for Learning, Thinking and Change

Facilitation and training with The Leadership Nook is about creating space for meaningful conversations and purposeful learning. Whether I’m leading a leadership away day, a team strategy session or a skills-based workshop, each session is designed to help people step back, think clearly and move forward with greater alignment and confidence.

These sessions blend structure with reflection – helping individuals and teams clarify their goals, navigate complexity and work more effectively together. Depending on your needs, I can offer facilitation, training or a combination of both, with content and formats tailored to your context and priorities.

My Approach

I bring the same values to facilitation and training as I do to coaching: depth, clarity and care. I create spaces that feel safe enough for honesty, structured enough for progress, and inclusive enough for everyone to feel heard.

Whether I’m working with a leadership team, a board or a whole organisation, I focus on designing sessions that balance reflection with action – sessions that don’t just tick a box, but lead to insight, alignment and meaningful next steps. I ask good questions, name what’s going unsaid, and guide groups with a steady hand through complexity, tension or uncertainty.

My approach is quietly challenging, always respectful, and rooted in a deep belief that people already have a great deal of wisdom – sometimes they just need the right space to surface it.

What I Offer

I design and deliver bespoke sessions shaped around your goals, people and context. These can include:

  • Leadership development workshops – exploring values, influence, resilience and decision-making

  • Board or team away days – to realign purpose, rebuild trust or set strategic direction

  • Culture and inclusion workshops – supporting teams to talk about what matters and work more effectively together

  • Skills-based training – including coaching skills for leaders, reflective practice, and values-led communication

Sessions can be delivered online or in person, and I’m happy to co-design with internal leads or external partners to get the format and tone just right.

How it works

Start with a conversation

We’ll begin with a free, no-obligation call to explore what you’re hoping to achieve – whether that’s a one-off workshop, a team development series, or a strategy day with your board. This is a chance to talk through your goals, your audience and what kind of support might work best.

Co-design your session

If we decide to work together, I’ll shape a session (or series) tailored to your needs. I can work from a clear brief, help you develop one, or collaborate with internal teams to co-create something that fits your context and culture. You’ll have clarity at every stage – from objectives to structure to outcomes.

Facilitate and follow up

On the day, I’ll hold the space, manage the energy in the room and ensure we stay focused and flexible. After the session, I’ll follow up with any agreed outputs – whether that’s a summary, reflections, or next-step recommendations. I also offer ongoing support if you’d like to build on the work over time.
